How could you seriously love someone so much?
This evening, I was filling up the tub for Conner's bathtime, and in conversation, just asked him if he would be mad if the babies came on his birthday, since his birthday is exactly 4 weeks before their Aug 28th due date. He got this really confused face and said, I wouldn't be mad, I would be happy! He just made my heart swell, I love that little boy so much. It is moments like that, that make his little attitude he is developing so worth it:) On other notes, we went to the batting cages a few weeks ago when he got his brand new "real" bat. You could tell the 5 other guys waiting to use the cage were kind of put off, since a little kid was taking up their time. But when he got in there he just blew us all away. He hit the crap out of about 5 balls, and made contact with about 15 out of 30. He just never ceases to amaze me!

First soccer practice
On Thursday, Conner had his very first soccer practice. To see the determination on his face was just beyond amazing. He was concentrating so hard to do a good job, my heart just could not help but swell with pride. That day he had a bit of a fever, but he wanted to go to soccer so bad. But when he got home, you could tell he wasn't feeling the best. We were outside because he wanted to still practice soccer when we got home, he actually crawled up in my lap and we swung together for a few minutes. And for anyone who knows Conner, him cuddling is NOT very common!
Then on Friday night, he still wasn't feeling the greatest, but he wanted to spend the night at G&G L's house SO bad. So we dropped him off and they decided to have a bonfire. Grandma was saying that next time we should roast some weenies. Conner's adamant response was, "NO, You are NOT roasting my weenie!!!" When Grandma was telling us the story, she said how she forgot that we use the real "technical" terms for body parts. What can I say! Then just yesterday Grandma and I went rummage sale-ing. Conner joined us about half way through because daddy had to go to football practice. Conner was so excited to go to "wummage sales" to find some toys. He was getting mighty disappointed as we passed by all these houses with no rummage sales, he was going "nope, nope nope. I want to find some toys!" We eventually stopped by a friends house and he did indeed find a few stuffed animals to take home.
